A passion for motorsport is not only the hallmark of Phoenix Racing’s team director Ernst Moser, but of every single member of his squad. With a penchant for perfect teamwork, a commitment to doing everything a bit better yet, and the motivation to view perfection as the most natural thing in the world, the racing team has dedicated all of its efforts towards achieving success.
Armed with a healthy dose of courage and clear aims, Ernst Moser ventured into the founding of Phoenix Racing in 1999. The young racing team settled in the Nürburgring industrial park in Meuspath, just a stone’s throw away from the legendary Nordschleife. The sounds of brawny engines from the nearby Nordschleife that waft through the Phoenix hall day in day out is music to the ears of all those who are preparing for the next racing commitments with utmost precision. Even in the early days, Phoenix Racing was backed by a handful of people with above-average experience and motivation who trusted Ernst Moser and were instrumental in supporting his venture. Dirk Theimann, Jürgen Jungklaus, Jörg Baldes, Martin Rose, Reiner Weigert, the men who joined the team on day one, are still pillars of the company to this day. It is people who make the difference anyhow, people who, through their abilities and personal commitment, are the guarantors of success. Ernst Moser is keenly aware of this, and proud of his low staff turnover. Phoenix Racing has long become a well-established quantity in international motorsport. Whether in the DTM, in GT or in endurance racing: Phoenix Racing has achieved innumerable successes in over twelve years. Yet the team’s hunger for success has by no means been satisfied yet. Ernst Moser guides his organization with a skilful hand in order to always assure the best possible preparation for the challenges of the future, in sporting competitions on the race track and as a business that entails the responsibility for about 25 employees.
