R8 LMS Cup: Thong and Lee level in Japan
The two Phoenix drivers Shaun Thong and Marchy Lee each scored 20 points at Suzuka during the second Audi R8 LMS Cup race weekend.

In the first of two races around the 5.807 kilometer long Suzuka Circuit, Shaun Thong racing under the banner of the Audi TEDA Racing Team took fourth place. Marchy Lee (Audi Hong Kong) made up three positions in the twelve lap race and crossed the finish line in fifth position behind his team mate.

In the second race, Lee even made good four positions from ninth on the grid and secured fifth place again followed by Shaun Thong. After they each scored 20 points, Thong and Lee now hold fifth and sixth positions overall respectively in the one-make cup’s drivers’ classification.

In Alex Yoong (seventh in the first race) and Kyong-Ouk You (eighth place in race two) two other Phoenix Racing drivers also finished in the top ten in Japan.
