Phoenix Racing and TÜV Rheinland aim at success at the Nürburgring
Ahead of the VLN Endurance Series season opener, Phoenix Racing presented TÜV Rheinland as a strong new partner for the GT3 season this year. In addition to the participation with Audi Sport in the DTM, the team from Meuspath, Germany has also committed to over 30 GT3 races from April until November in which they will enter Audi cars. The season highlight will be the Nürburgring 24 Hours on the 28th/29th of May. The team has already won this event four times and will be fielding an Audi R8 LMS.

“Maximum safety, quality, precision and passion for motorsport. This is what connects us to TÜV Rheinland and this is exactly what we want to bring to the track this season,” said team boss Ernst Moser.

“This partnership carries more than just the success on the race track,” said Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Brauckmann, Executive Vice President of Mobility Germany at TÜV Rheinland. The motorsport at the Nürburgring provides an ideal platform for the dialog with the industry and clients. “Frank Stippler is a very successful race driver and the fastest driver on the Nordschleife. In addition, he is an excellent brand ambassador for us. As a graduate engineer and an Audi development driver, he embodies the ideal synergy between motorsport and TÜV Rheinland.”
