Phoenix Racing successful in the VLN
At the ninth round of the VLN Endurance Championship at the Nürburgring, Frank Stippler and Anders Fjordbach finished fourth overall and took third place in the SP9 class.

Difficult weather conditions demanded a lot from the two Phoenix drivers. Starting from position ten and fitted with rain tires, the Audi R8 LMS with the starting number “5” already received slick tires on lap two. During the rest of the race, Stippler/Fjordbach made up six places in various exciting battles on track and secured fourth place overall with an advantage of only 0.258 seconds at the finish. “This was not a simple race,” said team manager Dirk Theimann about the four-hour race. “We are very satisfied with fourth place overall and third within the SP9 class. Ultimately, we made wise tactical decisions and maintained our position with strong performances from our drivers all the way to the finish.”
